The Property Industry Foundation is an independent industry charity that is for homeless youth. Over 28,000 young Australians aged 12 to 24 years were estimated to be homeless on Census night 2021. Young people are particularly vulnerable to the impacts of homelessness, not only to their education and transition to employment, but also to the formation of stable and healthy relationships. Affordable, suitable and stable housing is fundamental in ensuring the economic, social, psychological & physical wellbeing of young people. ¹ As the creator of homes and communities, our industry can and should play a role in addressing youth homelessness. Our vision is a safe home for every young Australian. Our mission is to increase the number of bedrooms available for homeless youth and support initiatives that have a tangible impact on youth homelessness. We do this through partnerships with other charities, companies and staff in the property and construction industry.

Ethiopiaid Australia is a not-for-profit organisation in Australia raising money for some of the poorest and most vulnerable people in Ethiopia. Why Ethiopia? Despite recent economic growth, Ethiopia is still one of the least developed countries in the world. More than one quarter of the population lives below the national poverty line, only 39% of people can read and write, and 1 in 8 children have lost one or both parents. Vision Our vision is for an Ethiopia free from poverty in which every person has access to quality education, healthcare and a life of dignity. Mission Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty in Ethiopia by enabling local communities to realise their potential. We want to contribute to Ethiopia achieving its target of becoming a middle-income country on longer reliant on foreign aid. How do we do this? Our founding principle is that Ethiopians have the answers to the challenges they face. We partner with and provide funding to trusted, local Ethiopian organisations who are specialists in their field. This means we are able to drive change from a grassroots level and alleviate poverty in a way that is realistic, achievable and sustainable.
