Created in 2017 out of the Mint Medical Ultrasound team, Sonosession provides high-impact, hands-on OB-GYN and general ultrasound education for healthcare practitioners nationwide—including nurse-midwives, physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Led by veteran sonographers and physicians with decades of clinical and educational experience, we bridge the gap between foundational theory and practical execution. Our Training Framework: Flexible Digital Preparation: Comprehensive on-demand lectures and instructional videos covering ultrasound physics, cross-sectional anatomy, knobology, pathology, and systematic scanning protocols. Ultra-Small Class Sizes: Live scanning workshops capped at a maximum of 5 participants per instructor to ensure dedicated mentorship and maximum transducer time. Real-Patient Scanning: Hands-on instruction conducted using real patient models across all trimesters, transvaginal exams, and clinical pathologies. Customized On-Site Training: Tailored training programs brought directly to healthcare facilities and group practices to upskill entire clinical teams efficiently.
