Sonoma Wings is a hang gliding and paragliding club, based in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, California. There are 4 things that we, as a club, are dedicated to: Encouraging a sense of community among area hang glider and paraglider pilots. Establishing and preserving flying sites in a way that protects the rights and property of land owners. Promoting safety and education. Making the USHPA rating system more accessible to area pilots. We accomplish these goals by: Maintaining communication through this web site, organizing flying trips (see our Club Calendar), and flying together every chance we get. Administering flying sites in our area, and actively working with all parties at all sites we fly. Covering safety issues at every club meeting, and talking safety whenever we fly.
