SONOMA COUNTY REGIONAL PARKS FOUNDATION Information

Sonoma County is home to one of the most diverse park systems in California – spanning cities, suburbs, valleys, mountains, rivers and ocean – with open space conservation land, developed trails, skate parks, tennis courts, sports fields, playgrounds, beaches, picnic areas, marinas and campgrounds. The Sonoma County Parks Foundation helps sponsor park programs for underserved communities, seniors and youth; supports the development of environmental education programs; funds natural resources projects to restore habitats and protect wildlife; provides financial support to develop new parks and trails; and hosts popular community events, such as the Spring Lake Water Bark.
