Founded in 2002, Backyard X-Scapes was created with the intention of providing our clients with the resources needed to create an escape from their everyday lives in their very own backyard. We specialize in creating peaceful environments and breathtaking landscapes with planet friendly products created from renewable resources. Horticulture from The University of Florida, so all of our designs and installations start with a sound understanding of what is most successful for the region and specific site. We work with gated community landscape restrictions and rules. Many clients are gone for the summer and we oversee their landscaping with a maintenance agreement, which includes but is not limited to fertilization, trimming, pest and water problems. We love problem gardens! We have found one of our favorite plants -The Bromeliad! With so many places it loves, Sun, Shade, Partial, there is a Bromeliad for every exposure. Some are tough, sun loving, mean and prickly, some very sensitive and soft! Although we may love Bromeliads, we realize they are not everyone's favorite.
