Soniccouture are Dan Powell and James Thompson. They met whilst working for a major synthesiser company as sound designers, during which time they shaped the sonic pallettes of many landmark sampling and synth products. Now, as Soniccouture, they have developed a reputation for high quality, idiosyncratic libraries based on unusual instruments and avant-garde sound design that traditional library developers don't explore in such depth. This philosophy has won many fans and Soniccouture products are now used in major Hollywood films and professional music production or wherever unique, high-quality sounds are required.
