SOMERSET CHRISTIAN SCHOOL Information

Somerset Christian School was founded and exists to pursue a three-fold mission: To bring children to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ To disciple children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord To provide a superior Biblical education instructing the whole child SCS seeks to implement its purpose and mission by hiring faculty members who profess Christ as Savior and Lord and are qualified to teach the level and subject to which they are assigned. SCS asks its parent body to support the purpose and mission of the school by actively praying for the school and its students and faculty, by actively taking part in the ongoing programs of the school, and by taking prime responsibility at home for the spiritual upbringing and accountability of their children. SCS is a mission school in several dimensions: it depends upon the faithful support of those who share its goals to continue; it stands in opposition to a culture which has forsaken its spiritual roots; and it specifically targets the next generation of believers to stand for Christ.
