The very first EE FUND ENTREPRENEURS EQUITY FUND - An equity fund that has funding from entrepreneurs, is run by entrepreneurs and aims to partner with entrepreneurs to create global leader in markets their companies serve. When we commit to invest – we are committing three key resources from Solmark – our Partners’ time, our money and our reputation. We are a group of tech entrepreneurs who have launched and built several companies and bring expertise in all aspects of growing a company in a competitive global marketplace. We are operating managers who aim to help an entrepreneur scale and grow their businesses. We partner with entrepreneurs to scale and grow their businesses – not just by sitting on Boards and providing capital BUT by getting involved in every way necessary and appropriate – including helping build a strategic plan to achieve leadership, supplementing leadership, providing capital, driving organic growth, building partnerships and day to day management. The investment process is very different – we don’t waste your time asking you to spend a huge amount of time building theoretical models. A vast majority of the funds that we deploy are Partners’ funds (not money we are managing) and therefore our interests are very closely linked to the entrepreneur. We bring expertise in the following areas: Strategic direction setting: We have worked on several corporate transformations and have helped create a differentiated position in the market. Global sales and marketing expertise: Solmark Partners/Principals have run businesses in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia and bring expertise in entering and growing new markets. Building the operating infrastructure that allows a company to scale. We have established best practices and can bring that expertise to bear. Deep executive leadership team: We can help identify and build out a global team of outstanding executives.
