Solid Design and Detail uses 3D modeling software to create drawings of components for a variety of projects. Our experience across many industries allows us to work on complex mechanical and structural projects with no material restrictions. We have over 20 years of design experience across marine, aerospace and structural industries, including collaborative projects with the Department of Defense (DoD) and numerous infrastructure projects with the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Solid Design and Detail offers project-based support to ensure you can competitively secure bids without the costly overhead that dedicated in-house design teams incur. We model our projects completely. This provides exceptional geometric accuracy, tolerancing, hole alignment, interference detection, weights and part properties. We are Associate Members of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and the National Institute of Steel Detailing (NISD) who specialize in Solidworks and Autodesk software.
