SOLCERA is a company specializing in technical ceramics, with an R&D—Research & Development—team at the heart of its operations. We develop, manufacture, and market a wide range of advanced, high-performance ceramics, as well as ceramic-to-metal and glass-to-metal assemblies. Our main sectors of activity include aerospace, defense, nuclear energy, agriculture, optics, and research. Founded in 1804 under the name DESMARQUEST, SOLCERA became an independent company in 2015 after a long period as part of major industrial groups. SOLCERA’s success is the result of a dedicated team, which is reflected in regular and large-scale hiring at its two production sites in France—located in Evreux (27) and Moissy-Cramayel (77)—as well as a subsidiary in Brazil, another in Germany, and a sales office in Spain.
