SolasCure is developing a dual-action therapeutic to address one of healthcare’s most persistent challenges: chronic wounds. An estimated 100 million people worldwide suffer from chronic wounds. Many fail to heal, and those that do often take months, with recurrence rates remaining high. Despite decades of innovation, overall healing outcomes have changed little. Current standards of care do not consistently address the biological drivers that prevent wounds from progressing toward repair. The burden on patients and healthcare systems is substantial, underscoring the need for mechanism-driven innovation in wound care. Aurase Wound Gel is our clinically validated, investigational therapy. It combines: > Continuous enzymatic debridement to maintain an optimal wound bed > Activation of endogenous repair pathways via PAR2 signalling Aurase Wound Gel contains Tarumase, a highly specific fibrinolytic enzyme discovered in maggot saliva, formulated in a hydrogel for use across hospital and community settings. In February 2026, SolasCure completed its latest Phase II clinical study, validating Aurase Wound Gel’s dual-action mechanism and demonstrating a substantial acceleration of healing compared with standard of care. Full results will be available in the upcoming clinical study report. We are now advancing toward the next stage of clinical development.
