Founded in 2011, Solar LEAP is a Section 88 Charity headquartered in Hong Kong. After supporting Solar Power and IT in schools in 6 countries, Solar LEAP began focusing activities in Myanmar in 2015 and have worked on IT projects at over 10 sites to help bridge the “digital divide” in low resource settings. Solar LEAP partners with local partners to deliver change through the creative use of technology in the classroom. The aim is to reduce the cost and improve the efficiency of Education IT projects in low-resource communities in Myanmar.
