Their deep-rooted reggae influence is fused with elements of rock and pop to create smooth original sounds - "We're all about luv", states the band. The group is made up of members Micah Pueschel (Guitar/Lead Vocals), Adam Taylor (Bass), Joseph Dickens (Drums), Cayson Peterson (Keyboard/Synth), and Micah Brown (Guitar/Vocals). Most of the members of Iration met while growing up in Hawaii but the band members reconnected in Santa Barbara, CA circa 2004 - the exception being Micah Brown, a California native, who officially joined the group in 2014. Iration has been touring nationally since 2008, performing at festivals nationwide from Lollapalooza to Sunfest and Hangout, closing stages at festivals like Bottlerock and Outside Lands. Born in Trenchtown, Jamaica, Ziggy Marley was surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Jamaican recording industry from a very young age. First accompanying his father in the studio at a tender age, he soon joined with his siblings to form The Melody Makers. The act enjoyed two decades of successful touring and recording, netting three Grammy Awards and worldwide renown. Ziggy has contributed to a variety of soundtracks including 50 First Dates, Dora the Explorer, the PBS children's show Arthur, and Shark's Tale, in which he delved into acting for the first time, playing the character of Bernie, the Jamaican jellyfish. In addition to his skills as a singer, songwriter and producer, Ziggy founded U.R.G.E. (Unlimited Resources Giving Enlightenment), a non-profit organization that benefits a wide range of charitable children's causes in Jamaica, Ethiopia and other developing nations. More recently he has lent his support to both the Youth AIDS and H&M's Fashion Against Aids campaigns.

Groundation has truly become a worldwide movement. Incorporating a unique blend of reggae, jazz, and dub Groundation has created a global community of fans that continues to grow. Their live shows are bursting with energy and improvisation. In the past two years, Groundation has played shows in nineteen countries spanning four continents. Highlights include playing for over 45,000 fans in Morocco, 10,000 people in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and 15,000 during a headlining spot at SummerJam in Germany. Their 2007 European summer tour took them for the first time to Norway, Denmark, Greece, and finally to the UK where they were welcomed by a sold-out crowd at the Jazz Café in London. In addition, they performed to their growing audience in France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, and Holland. 2007 has also seen tremendous growth for Groundation in the USA. They have played sold out shows up and down the west coast and been greeted with warm receptions in Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and Montana. Groundation has released five studio albums that are each complex and textured works revealing the full extent of the Groundation sound. With the 2006 release of their newest studio album, Upon the Bridge, they are showing the world where they've been and where they're heading. The album marks the group's first world-wide release to every continent and has been meet to top reviews in major publications around the world. Earlier in 2006 Groundation released their first ever dub album, Dub Wars. It was met with impressive reviews including 3 1/2 stars from Rolling Stone Magazine who said, "This collection gives the dub treatment to tracks from the group's stellar albums Hebron's Gate and We Free Again, adding a hypnotic resonance to their groove-based songs." The name 'Groundation' came from trying to get everyone on the same level so people can talk and feel free to educate each other and learn from each other, and not come from a hierarchy or some type of leveled class situation.
