Soil Cares has created a robust, affordable and easy to operate mobile and stationary soil testing laboratory that can analyze and provide direct fertilizer recommendations in a matter of hours. Recomendations are crop specific and take into account the ability of the farmer to invest in fertilizers. Soil cares aims its services to the large group of lesser informed small holder farmers who benefit directly from new input of information for informed farming decisions. The Soil Cares laboratories are offered as a franchise and are capable of analysing between 50 and 75 samples a day by a minimum of 2 people for a sales price of around 10 euros per sample. Next to that Soil Cares offeres specific trainings and training material on soil fertility management for small holder farmers. Currently Soil Cares is located in Netherlands and Kenya.
