SOFTER Information

SOFTER is a movement, global network and non-profit organisation for shaping Softer Digital Futures. We facilitate events, conferences, residents, collaborations and alternative learning spaces with the vision of rewriting the narrative that tech is ‘hard’. We believe that softer values such as care, empathy, community, multiplicity and collaboration are the path towards equitable futures to learn, examine and practice creative technologies and design. With this new, soft and feminist value system, we bring together our dedicated network together to build future infrastructures and develop the foundations for the SOFTER mission. SOFTER was founded in 2020 by Nicole Jonasson and Ida Lissner and supported by a dedicated team.
