SoftChip is commercializing DRDCL, a proprietary CMOS-compatible logic structure designed to deliver more useful computation per transistor, per cycle, per mm² and per joule. DRDCL combines differential cascode trees with dynamic Cross-Switch control to support multiple related functions and useful outputs through a common evaluation. Its advantages include high logic density, lower switching activity and nanosecond-scale reconfiguration. SoftChip is developing bounded, characterizable logic blocks for integration into conventional semiconductor design flows. Soft-NMC is the first commercial application. It applies DRDCL to scoring, selection, reduction and accumulation near the memory boundary, targeting 60–80% less K/V-derived movement, 12–13x higher local throughput, 3–4x potential sustained system throughput and under 1% area overhead. Additional DRDCL applications include arithmetic, control and dataflow logic, memory-interface processing, adaptive logic, and fine-grained repair and remapping. SoftChip is seeking semiconductor, AI hardware, memory and foundry ecosystem partners for focused DRDCL evaluations against equivalent conventional CMOS implementations.
