SOFA Project is a Reuse, Recycling & Rehabilitation charity & social enterprise that has been operating in the heart of Bristol since 1982. One of our charitable objectives is to reduce the number of items going to landfill, which we do by taking in donations from the public and our partners. We provide quality affordable second hand furniture, homewares & domestic electrical appliances to everyone in our communities, and provide work and volunteer opportunities to long term unemployed people looking to gain experience as they get into work. Our flagship retail shop is on West Street, Old Market in Bristol & we also have a furniture boutique on the Gloucester Road in Bristol. We also operate an Environment Agency licensed AATF facility in the heart of St Phillips where we fully refurbish electric cookers and washing machines which are then provided to people on low incomes.
