SOF Missions Information

Shield of Faith Missions (SOF Missions) is a national faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to ending the veteran suicide epidemic by restoring hope and building resilience in our nation's warriors. Founded by retired U.S. Air Force Special Warfare Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Damon Friedman and his wife, Dayna, SOF Missions provides free high-end medical care for veterans, active-duty service members, law enforcement officers, and first responders. Unlike traditional programs that address only one aspect of recovery, our Be Resilient Program® combines psychological, physical, social, and spiritual care to treat the root causes of invisible wounds—including PTSD, moral injury, mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), chronic pain, insomnia, chronic stress, poor nutrition, and lack of exercise. Our mission: To empower warriors to find hope and be resilient.
