Société Camerounaise d’Operation Maritime S.A. – So.Co.Mar. - a subsidiary of the Grimaldi Group of Naples, operates as shipping agent, stevedore and acconier in the port of Douala, Cameroun. Specialised in agency and handling of Con-Ro and General Cargo ships, it serves different international Shipping Lines and being the sole agent of the Grimaldi Lines in Cameroun. Socomar also operates the first Bonded Vehicles Park of Douala, handling approx 30.000 vehicles annually. Employing circa 220 staff, it offering logistics solutions for international forwarding of vehicles, containers, wood, breakbulk, including stockage, road transport and customs clearance.
