Our mission at SoCo Nexus is to create high value jobs in the North Bay by enabling and accelerating the success of homegrown startups within a dynamic, sustainable and synergistic environment. As the North Bay’s first business incubator, we are a non-profit organization providing facilities, support and mentoring to the region’s entrepreneurs. By improving the success rate of startup businesses focused on sustainable and socially-relevant technologies, we create jobs and provide an essential tool by developing a business community that is both prosperous and dedicated to sustainable growth. SoCo Nexus brings together coworkers, startups, and emerging growth companies that have a shared need for a vibrant business ecosystem and modern workspace that can grow with their business. Founded in 2007, SoCo Nexus includes the North Bay’s first incubator and brings together a high powered community of mentors, investors, academic institutions, and service providers to support our community, including companies in the Sprout! incubator program which grooms select entrepreneurs in preparation for investment.
