Sober Outdoors Information

Sober Outdoors is a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to connecting sober and sober-curious individuals with the healing power of nature, the backcountry, and outdoor adventure. We believe that recovery isn’t about giving something up—it’s about gaining a life full of purpose, connection, and adventure. We recognize that addiction comes in many forms, and Substance Use Disorder is just one piece of a much larger puzzle. Whether you’re in recovery, exploring a sober lifestyle, supporting a loved one, or simply looking for a different kind of outdoor experience, you belong here. Through local outdoor events, community meetups, expert resources, and a growing network of like-minded adventurers, we provide a space where people can heal, grow, and build lasting connections—all without the pressure to drink. At Sober Outdoors, we don’t just believe in sobriety; we believe in thriving. Because the best views in life aren’t at the bottom of a glass—they’re at the top of a mountain, in the heart of the backcountry, or around a campfire with friends who truly get you. Join us. The adventure is just beginning. 👉 Learn more at www.soberoutdoors.org
