Hello, we’re Snowdrop Energy After years of working with energy companies, and being customers of many, we realised – there is a better way. We were fed up with how poor the big suppliers treated their customers, so we decided to do something about it. We setup Snowdrop – the gas and electricity supplier that’s independent, sustainable, smart and doing good. Independent A sense of humor, humble, honest, practical and hardworking. We’re owned 100% by our people. The people that work in our office, answer our phones, buy your energy and build our software. We don’t have any investors (yet) and we make decisions based on common sense and what we believe is the right thing to do. One day, we might take investment, but it will be from the right people who believe in our values and our culture. Sustainable We believe in using business and our profits to make a positive impact. We supply 100% renewable power as standard across all our tariffs – Powering our customers without recklessly taxing the planet’s resources in the process. Smart The energy industry is stifled by legacy systems and manual process, but this does not need to be the case. We’re creating smart technology to harness the full potential of smart meters, enabling our customers to effortlessly help them to save energy, save money and protect our planet. Doing Good We are not a perfect company, not even close, but our intentions are always good. We know we’ll make mistakes, we’re only human and we would like to be judged by the good we do and not for the mistakes we make. Our goal is to deliver energy with minimal environmental impact and empower our customers to make better choices about how they use their energy.
