Most outdoor equipment is built for one season, one job. The SMUR X1 (Snowbotix Multi-Utility Robot X1) is built for the calendar. One machine, five jobs, twelve months: clears snow, spreads deicer, sweeps, mows turf, cuts slopes. Human-in-the-loop. WHAT IS ON THE MACHINE • Centimeter-level RTK GPS positioning, with no base station on site • Standalone edge computing. Decisions made on the machine, not in the cloud • Surround 4D Perception. mmWave radar and day/night imaging, through weather that stops crews • Cellular where it exists, LEO satellite where it does not, neither needed to finish the route • All-electric, engineered to −40°C WHO WE WORK WITH Defense installations. WHAT IT HAS ALREADY DONE A full winter season of autonomous plowing and mowing on the live campus at Lawrence Technological University, October 2024 to March 2025. Year-round at the Pikes Peak Summit, on 35 to 40 degree slopes. Validated in the U.S. Army xTech program. WHY IT HOLDS UP IN PROCUREMENT Proof of service on every event: GPS-traced coverage, timestamps, boundaries and before and after images.
