SnipSnap is a mobile coupon startup that makes it extraordinarily easy to scan and save any coupon (printed, mailed or otherwise) to your smartphone, simply by taking a photograph of it. After that, the app works its magic and recognizes the text, barcode, and images on the coupon to allow it to be indexed, saved, and redeemed on your phone. We give users a completely novel new way to use mobile offers, and in the process of capturing these offers, we also offer coupon advertisers (manufacturers, merchants, local shops) targeting based on things like past scanning history and location.
