The SNAP Employment and Training Program is a federally-funded initiative that provides scholarships for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)recipients to receive the training needed to obtain jobs. These scholarships are administered at the State level via the Department of Social Services (DSS). Persons receiving SNAP assistance may be eligible to take one of NCCC’s in-demand workforce training programs for free.
