MMS Retail also developed a major business stream in data services and logistics with the delivery of industry databases. In the mid 90's MMS worked with the Music Industry peak body (ARIA) to establissh ARIAnet for the collection of retaiil POS sales stats used by product suppliers - this ongoing data facilitation service, now provided by MMS Data, continues to be the basis of the ARIA Music Charts and Awards. In early 2011, MMS Retail sold its WinStore POS business to allow it to concentrate on, and specifically resource, development of retail product data facilitation services, stock replenishment management solutions and product ordering logistics. In July 2004, at the invitation of Leading Edge Group, MMS Retail worked with LEE and Electus Distribution on delivery of product data into retail and the facilitation of electronic internet based supplier ordering.
