Smugshot Information

Beautifully captured pet portraits and albums can help you relive those precious moments and share the joy with family and friends. It's all about patience and understanding to capture the real character and personality of your pet. And we have plenty of it. Every cat and dog has its own personality even those from the same litter can vary wildly. Laurie Philp is a seasoned professional photographer who has worked with animals over many years and whose career started in photography at the Natural History Museum in London. Over the years he has photographed many animals from pets who appear in TV commercials to much loved "Heinz 57" breeds from the local refuge. So whether your dog has appeared at Crufts, Scrufts or the local pet show Laurie would be delighted to meet them. Laurie also knows a trick or two to help his nervous subjects be at ease and freeze the moment of those who are constantly on the go. Pet portraits make ideal gifts. Dographer offers a gift scheme making it easy for you to give a unique and original present. The photography sessions are often enjoyed as much by the owners as the subjects. We're always happy to include humans even if they have never won best of breed.
