SmoothyEdit makes free desktop tools for video editors working in Adobe Premiere Pro. The app runs on Mac and Windows and connects to Premiere through a bundled panel. The free app includes auto-switch multicam, silence removal, editable local captions with SRT export, a video compressor, and an SVG and assets importer. On Mac 1.5.1 you can also search stock footage and preview music in the same app. It's free forever and needs no account, no credit card and no trial. Multicam, silence removal, captions and compression run on your machine, so your media stays on your computer. Studio AI is an optional add-on for planning your edit. A DaVinci Resolve plugin is coming soon.
