"Dear to Dream and Design the Future." Queen's Hyperloop Design Team (QHDT) is a leading Canadian design team comprised of over 100 like-minded students who share a vision for changing the future of transportation. We Leverage the amazingly talented students within the Queen's community to work in a cross-functional team, striving towards a shared goal of making the Hyperloop a reality. With three distinct branches and a tunnelling team, we produce results in hyperloop pod and infrastructure design, business analytics, and research and development of cutting-edge technology. We bolster a culture of innovation and passion that extends to the 2019 SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition, in which our team placed as one of the top 19 teams in the world. Nationally, we tied for the most awards won at the 2023 Canadian Hyperloop Conference (now Hyperloop Global) and were recognized for having the best leadership amongst the competing North American teams. Our team centers around professional development and personal growth, which enabled us to run the only dedicated professional development program within the Queen's design team community.
