Smeekes Drafting Pty Ltd was formed in Perth, Western Australia in 1995 by Roland Smeekes, a senior Electrical and Instrumentation Design Draftsman and accredited Building Designer (CC4900A). Roland attained his associate diploma in Electrical Engineering (Power) in 1985 from the TAFE College in Hobart Tasmania and attained his building designer accreditation in 2007. A wealth of knowledge has since been gained at worksites both throughout Australia and internationally. Rolands combined commitment to the environment and passion for simplistic yet aspiring architecture that encompasses all the basic fundamentals of todays varied lifestyles resulting in dwellings that maximise space utilisation, are energy efficient, cost effective and aesthetically appealing.
