SMC is an ecumenical umbrella organization encompassing more than thirty different churches and Christian organisations with faith in development. Together we work towards changing oppressive power relationships, for a just distribution of the earth’s resources. We also provide support to churches and civil society organisations in their efforts to influence and develop society. Yearly SMC allocates over 270 million SEK for interventions in around 50 countries contributing to long-term development or humanitarian work.
