Smartcard Health Technologies, Inc. is a new company that has devised a transformational solution for portable medical records and patient centric computing based upon smartcard technology. Now, patients will be able to keep their entire life medical history with them while hospitals and clinics can monitor their patient’s healthcare from an end-to-end lifecycle care perspective. This solution is designed to integrate into existing hospitals’ and clinics’ systems with as little modification to existing systems as possible. The company has a proof of concept in process with a major hospital system, with a pilot and production rollout to be performed in 2010. The company is a Nevada based corporation with offices in Virginia, San Jose, CA, and Central Oregon.
