Bell Telephone Company gave us our start in Greenville, Mississippi in 1967. Shortly thereafter in 1970, we moved to North Texas. In Texas, we would continue working for Bell Telephone Company until 1976. In 1982 we set out to start our own operation. It wasn't long before we became one of the industry leading communications experts in North Texas. In 1995, today's Owner/Operator Shane Dodd started working for the company. Aspiration of one day taking over the 'family business' motivated Shane from a young age to focus on the training and knowledge his father would pass on to him. It wasn't long before we became experts in audio/video, making a seamless transition & expanding our service platform. We continued until 2011, when Shane took the reigns of the company & Smart Source Technology was born! Shane would infuse a fresh & energetic vision, combining 2 generations of experience & expertise with technology at its core, fueled by unprecedented service & work ethic. He knew there were endless possibilities in both residential & commercial applications, & has worked tirelessly to stay on the cutting edge of today's (& tomorrow's) technological advances.
