Small Well Press is an independent children's book publisher based in Greer, South Carolina. We make illustrated picture books that turn hard topics into easy reading for kids ages 3–6. Our mission is simple: help families talk about the things that matter most. Health, family, big feelings, and the world around us—the conversations every parent eventually needs to have, written in a way young children can actually understand. Each title in our catalog is built around a single hard topic and a single accessible metaphor, designed to give parents a head start on the conversation and give kids a way in. We work with an expert illustrator to bring each story to life and collaborate with (and donate to) nonprofit organizations whose work aligns with the topics we cover—extending the reach of each book beyond the page! 📚 Easy Reading.
