While Japanese sake in its current form has a history of about thousand years, Small Sake is the new kid on the block. The history of Small Sake started with a great product that regrettably remains largely unknown and thus somewhat inaccessible to most of us. While most consumers know sake as a category, sadly the majority of us is not able to name a single brand. This is very different for most other categories of alcohol, for which many brands are widely known. Most consumers have difficulty distinguishing between the seemingly identically looking bottles and labels of sake in the market, and thus find it difficult to decide on their favorite.
