What would you give up to save a life? Small Sacrifice is a movement to change the world through empowerment and incremental giving. It’s all about awareness, understanding, and movement. We are a movement. Small Sacrifice is about a lot of people doing a little bit, resulting in a lot of change. Some people feel powerless, like their small sacrifice can’t make a difference. EVERY small sacrifice makes a difference, and when we come together we can change the world. We are a team of passionate individuals. We are a team of people who are “too small” to make a difference or to have a voice. We are a movement that reads the previous sentence and doesn’t care. We are the spark that will light a fire that can change the world, one lunch at a time. We are fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, sinners and saints, rich and poor. We are you. Join us. Here’s the idea: ask people to give up something small for one day, a specific day, and give that money to a specific organization that impacts the lives of children. Have them do something small, yet experiential. Make it easy and secure. Make it count, by picking a partner with an exceptional track record, a high return rate, and a similar mission and passion. Make it cohesive by asking participants to share their stories, creating a feeling of belonging to something bigger.
