Small Giants is dedicated to moving people and capital to the next economy. We use storytelling, education and the movement of capital to accelerate the transition to an economy that creates sustainable human prosperity in a flourishing web of life. Small Giants was founded in 2007 by Danny Almagor and Berry Liberman to create, support, nurture and empower businesses and entrepreneurs that are shifting us to a more socially equitable and environmentally sustainable world. We spent our first decade growing a family of businesses committed to positive change, including beloved businesses like Impact Investment Group, The Sociable Weaver, and Dumbo Feather. Now we are focusing on the second part of our mission; to provide people with a meaningful pathway to live a life of passion and purpose. In the face of fires, floods and now a pandemic, we see a need to provide a safe space to convene - to have conversations, provide perspectives and to re-imagine together what the world can be. These crises that are breaking our hearts open are providing an opportunity amidst the uncertainty and destruction. How will we react and how will we go forward? Will we continue on as business as usual or will we step up to reimagining what’s possible through complete systems change? A system that acknowledges and values all forms of capital - social, financial, material, living (natural), intellectual, experiential, spiritual and cultural. Through our podcasts, conversations, storytelling, programs and investments, Small Giants is a place for those who are ready to show up and join the journey to the next economy.
