The Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau is dedicated to advancing the status of women locally and worldwide. We host fundraisers that support women locally, nationally and internationally. We also perform hands-on service projects that have a direct impact on the lives of women in the Cape Girardeau area and in Haiti.Zonta International Map A worldwide organization, Zonta International is geographically divided into Areas and Districts. The Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau is located in Area 2 and within District 7.

Breakforth is a non-profit support organisation headquartered in Ireland. The organisation works to alleviate poverty and foster sustainable development by empowering women and girls, using a holistic approach. To effectively meet the needs of the women we serve, we work in collaboration with our local partners. Our key strategies for achieving our goals are programmes and project based. Women and girls are at the center of our community based efforts to create community re-engagement and transformation, expand economic opportunity, improve basic education and healthcare. We focus specially on working alongside with women and girls, because we strongly believe that when women are equipped with adequate resources, they have the power to help their whole families and entire communities escape poverty and poor health which in turn leads to sustainable development.
