Slindon College Information

Slindon College is a specialist independent day and boarding school for boys aged 8-18, set in the historic Slindon House, located in the South Downs National Park. With unrivalled views of the south coast, the 14 acre setting provides the backdrop to a stimulating, broad and balanced educational experience for students of all academic abilities, taking into account their strengths and talents. Slindon House was built on the historical site of the Summer Palace of the Archbishop of Canterbury. It went through several transitions before being given to the Kempe family by Queen Mary Tudor. In 1948 the house was given as part of the Slindon Estate to the National Trust and Lingfield School moved in from their Surrey home, the school changed name to Slindon College in 1972 under a new charitable trust. Slindon College is situated in the heart of West Sussex in the small village of Slindon. 5 miles from the historic town of Arundel. 8 miles east of Chichester. 10 miles west of Worthing.
