Founded in 1997 in San Diego California, Slightly Stoopid were signed by Sublime's Brad Nowell to his own Skunk Records when they were mere teenagers. In the decade since, Slightly Stoopid has created their own success as an independent band, selling over 300,000 CDs on their own record label, Stoopid Records. With "Chronchitis" this Southern California band have cemented a signature sound by fusing acoustic and electric rock with blues, psychedelic dub reggae and hip-hop which has resulted in a more mature, well-rounded band. Produced by Mario C, Paul Leary, Miguel and Chris D, this stellar album features a little help from friends such as G.Love, Guru of Gangstarr, Angelo Moore of Fishbone and Money Mark.
