Space is Ltd. is an innovative, sustainable and responsible spatial product developer. By applying design and technology to physical space, Space is Ltd. addresses perceived social needs and issues in the urban context. With the opening of SLEEEP – Hong Kong's first licensed capsule hotel – in 2016, Space is Ltd. is leading a quiet transformation in Hong Kong to promote wellness and a culture of rest in a city that is sleep-deprived and overworked. True to its commitment to sustainability, SLEEEP is the world's first LEED v4 Gold certified capsule hotel, and its original design has won numerous high-profile awards including Red Dot 2018 (Product Design) and Design for Asia 2017 (Silver). In 2017, Space is Ltd. began to explore new ways of designing a city. Our proposal was vote "The Public's Favorite"​ and came in top in Hong Kong Dream City Urban Design Competition, organized by HKSeekRoad. Space is Ltd. is recognized by the Design Council of Hong Kong as a D-Mark certified business for developing a framework to harness design quality.
