Sledge Precision Instruments is a Negev-based start-up that offers technical expertise on the issues of regulatory compliance for the water sector. Our focus is on hardware development and technological innovation for reservoir monitoring/modeling, but we are involved in all aspects of the water sector. Sledge emerged after winning the Netafim Accelerator hosted at Ben Gurion University in Be'er Sheva, Israel in February 2025. We are a technician and operator focused company, we are technologists only for the sake of public health and lowering water monitoring costs for our clients. Sledge was started by Jonathan Leiman, a hybrid professional in the water field with 15+ years of experience as a consultant and compliance engineer in the environmental science fields of fisheries and water management. Sledge’s approach to water resource management is to seek deep-tech solutions to improve the cost-effectiveness of monitoring analytes like harmful algal bloom and emerging contaminants via technology like miniaturized biochip-based electrochemical sensors.
