There’s a lot of emphasis placed on professional and personal development- and for good reason! It allows us to make changes, to be challenged, and find happiness in our careers and lives. The thing is that we get the development formula wrong. We believe that if we just do something different, we’ll get different results. As a society we’re obsessed with “doing” and so the first question people tend to ask themselves when unhappy in their job is, “what is it that I want to do?” These efforts might bring us relief for a short period of time but eventually we end up feeling the same way we did when we started. The reason for that is our thoughts about ourselves and our world create our feeling which then create our actions. If we want to create true change we can’t just skip to the last part of the equation, we must go back to the root of it all: our beliefs. The thing is that the question we should really be asking ourselves is “who is it that I want to be?” Who you are is the collection of your beliefs, values, experiences, education, etc. and when you are crystal clear on not only who you are, but who you are becoming the “what” or action comes effortlessly! The program starts with a one of a kind assessment that measures those beliefs in the form of your attitude and perceptions about what it takes to be successful. Unlike other assessments that measure personality traits or communication styles with the intent of helping you “work with what you have” this assessment simply gives you a snapshot of where you are, shows you what’s possible, and provides a framework for you to reach that untapped potential.
