We are the charity who love and look after Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, Tower of London, the Banqueting House, Kew Palace, and Hillsborough Castle and Gardens.
The palaces are the setting for the stories that shape us all, and we’re bringing them to people in ways that mean more to them.
We want everyone to find themselves in the spaces and stories we share.
The palaces are owned by The King on behalf of the nation. As an independent charity, we raise all our own funds and depend on the support of our visitors, members, donors, sponsors and volunteers.
The charming Hever Castle is situated in the heart of the idyllic Kent countryside, less than an hour from Central London, with a rich and varied history dating back more than 700 years, the most famous resident being Anne Boleyn. Yet much of what visitors see today is the result of the remarkable efforts of a wealthy American, William Waldorf Astor, who used his fortune to restore and extend the Castle in the early 20th century.
Today the Astor Wing together with the Guthrie Pavilion in the Italian Garden and areas of the Castle itself are available for corporate events, private events and weddings. Each venue has its own unique character and offers peace, privacy and seclusion in one of the most historic and beautiful settings in England.
Hever Castle offers 28 luxury ‘five-star’ bedrooms in the Astor Wing and the Anne Boleyn Wing, both Edwardian Wings, designed in Tudor style that are available for exclusive use, making it the perfect location for your next event.
You will also find Hever Castle Golf Club set within 250 acres of truly beautiful Kentish countryside. From a small group of 12 to a large corporate/charity event, your dedicated golf days co-ordinator will help to plan your perfect day out.
Alnwick Castle is the second largest inhabited castle in England, dubbed the "Windsor of the North," which has been home to the Duke of Northumberland's family, the Percys, for over 700 years.
The Castle's rich history is brimming with drama, intrigue, and extraordinary people; from a gunpowder plotter and visionary collectors, to decadent hosts and medieval England's most celebrated knight, Harry Hotspur.
Combining magnificent medieval architecture with spectacular Italianate State Rooms, Alnwick Castle is one of the UK's most significant heritage destinations. In recent years it has also taken starring roles in a number of film and television productions, featuring as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Harry Potter films and as a location for ITV's Downton Abbey.
