For more than 25 years, Skatelite has stood the test of time as the premium skate ramp surface used by the pros, the top action sports camps and the world’s most notable competitions. Both proven legends and the legends-in-making depend on Skatelite's weather resistance and the nearly indestructible construction that delivers a balance of speed and grip not attainable with any other surface. Smooth, fast, durable and aesthetically pleasing, Skatelite is the ideal surface material for indoor or outdoor ramps. Skatelite's parent company Richlite was founded in 1943 in the Pacific Northwest's aerospace industry. Later, the unique paper-composite material was adopted by the commercial food industry due to its antimicrobial, easy-to-clean and heat-resistant qualities, and in the marine sector, where its water-resistance was key. In 1998, the action sports industry took notice in skatepark construction, and the sport-specific brand Skatelite was born.
