Gravitational potential energy storage is obtained by pumping upwards heavier than water saturated seasalt brine. This design allows us to expand the available deployment area for pumped hydro to all offshore locations between 300m and 2000m of depth, providing an unparalleled storage solution with zero land use and streamlined permitting.
