Sixtus Maritime ApS, formerly known as Lone Star Tankers Scandinavia ApS, was established in Copenhagen in April 2001. Following a 'management buy-out' in 2010, we changed the company name - taking inspiration from the name of the small fortification, at the former Copenhagen naval base, on which "The Danish Sovereign Flag" has been flying since 1788. We have a combined maritime experience of more than 100 years - gained in more than 10 countries and in diverse fields such as chartering, operation, sale and purchase, agency, bunker-trading and ship-owning. We are serious and dedicated shipbrokers and yet with a pragmatic approach and we strive to give all - charterers and owners alike - a win-win experience when dealing with us. We handle our business with ambition and in a focused manner and whenever possible and appropriate we facilitate our dealings with humor and a smile. Today we serve our clients with spot and time chartering, sale & purchase, projects, related market intelligence and operation of ships time chartered by our clients.
