Sismo is a company that started to work in the flight simulation field in 2005, the first products were released in 2007. Sismo changed the way how the flight simulators for the “low cost” market are developed and fabricated. Sismo replaced materials such wood, plastic, etc. for the main structures of metal and aluminum, creating components, casings, frames and bays to facilitate the deployment and the construction, giving a very strong and professional finish. Besides this innovation, Sismo has created modules designed to have a high-quality termination, which facilitate the assembly, maintenance and configuration. Modules based on USB interface usually have stability issues, especially when multiple modules are connected to a computer or a single USB has to control a set of panels, therefore in 2009, Sismo decided to develop our own specific I/O Boards using Ethernet Bus, resulting in the SimCards that is a family of boards to control all the modules and components of the simulator. Ethernet bus is very reliable with top performance and is used by most of the large companies in the professional segment (CAE, Thales, Indra, etc.). Sismo has almost 15 years of experience developing and assembling simulators. The innovation, quality, permanent improvement, technology and dedicated customer service being the key factors that have driven the behavior of this company. The best proof of this is that our flight simulator is present un flight simulation entertainment centers, universities, flight schools and even hotels all around the world. Sismo is focused in Boeing 737 as the platform to develop their flight simulator, offering a realistic and complete solution for B737-NG and recently for B737-MAX as well, where Sismo has developed the complete set of modules for this new plane,. These platforms are compatible with different software applications and add-ons, however Sismo recommends ProSim737.
