Sırmagrup was established in 1991; however, the experience of its founders in the beverage sector goes back to the 1950’s. A mineral water spring was purchased in 1991, in the Orhaneli town of Bursa and mineral water production in returnable bottles in plastic cases began. Natural Spring Water production in polycarbonate bottles began in 1998, in the town of Sapanca, Adapazarı. Plastic bottle water production began in 2004. A second water factory became operational in 2008 in Adapazarı. The new Sırma factory opened in August 2011, in Burdur/Eynazlı. The factory which is the biggest investment in the region with its 11.400 meter square area provides employment to 300 people directly and 2000 people indirectly. Europe’s popular drink, Schorle was introduced to the market in October 2011. At the Sırma facility in Bursa, Mineral Water, Fruit Flavored Mineral Water, Mineral Water with Vitamins and Schorle; and at the facilities in Sapanca and Burdur Natural Spring Water production continues. In a short time, Sırmagrup, succeeded in becoming one of the leading corporations in the beverage sector with its healthy, innovative products, its logistic ability and quality packaging manufacturing. Sırmagrup, reaches its consumers in 81 cities in Turkey.
