Meeting Waters YMCA strengthens the foundations of communities in the Brattleboro, Bellows Falls, Springfield and Fall Mountain regions by fostering youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. We are the area's largest provider of state-licensed school-age child care and day camp programs, as well as the largest employer of teens and young adults in the region's non-profit social services sector. While one of the smallest of the 2,700 YMCAs in America (by budget), we are national models within the movement. In 2014, we were one of just 18 Ys named "HEPA Champions" by Y-USA for our deep commitment to healthy eating and physical activity policies and practices in our Y-ASPIRE after-school program. In 2015, we were chosen by Y-USA as one of 9 Ys in the country with exceptional Family Engagement practices. In 2011, our Healthy Communities Coalition was selected by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Y-USA as one of four "model success stories" in the country for healthy communities initiatives. Founded in 1895 and led by a volunteer board of directors and just three full-time staff leaders, Meeting Waters YMCA is one of the few "non-facility" Ys among the nearly 2,700 independent YMCAs in America, today. The combination of these attributes has us recognized within the Y movement for our innovative, community-responsive progams and services.

Pluralidade é palavra de ordem para nós. Nosso maior objetivo é reconhecer a autenticidade no comportamento e busca do estilo de cada um, aprendendo com a rua e entregando novas opções de mixar e construir suas próprias identidades de forma livre, democrática. A nossa missão é dar voz ao novo. Proporcionar um canal efervescente desenhado para quem está disposto a ver e ser visto. Com um posicionamento ambicioso, trabalhamos com aquilo que acreditamos ser o caminho que a nossa geração está trilhando, usando as novas tecnologias e meios digitais para nos comunicar e interagir com esses jovens, entendendo-os e capacitando-os a serem eles mesmos. Isso é o “else” que todos buscamos. We are now!

DAYS Long Beach provides services in three key areas: Youth Education and Support; Leadership and Academic Success; and Parent and Family Support. Through a holistic approach to helping youth and families of Long Beach, DAYS Long Beach provides the needed support to build future success for our members of our community.
